FrenchExpertInIreland is an independent publication launched in September 2023 by jean-Michel Portefaix.

Jean-Michel Portefaix joined Dublin in May 2023 as an international technical expert in innovation and applied research. His work, funded by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and seconded to EI, aims to develop Franco-Irish cooperation on these issues. He is based at NovaUCD

The mission will consist in :

Developing a better understanding of the research and innovation players and eco-systems in France and Ireland in areas of common interest.

Identifying, promoting and supporting in obtaining national or European funding to enable the implementation of these collaborations

Bringing together the interface structures (incubators, business incubators, competitive clusters, etc.)  to create a favourable "soft landing" environment in our respective countries for start-ups
